Some updates and good news that came in as we ended the Fall 2025 semester:
PhD candidate Vahid Fard published a review chapter entitled “Transposable Elements and Genome Evolution in Vertebrates” in the Springer Nature volume Transposable Elements, Transcriptomics and Disease.
Our paper with Drs. Andrew Rubio and Adam Stuckert at University of Houston on genome size evolution in frogs and toads has been published in BMC Genomics.
